Warbirds lands on itch.io

You can now play Warbirds straight from its itch.io page. Not a demo, not a download — the whole game, running in the browser tab, wired into the same live servers and the same fights as the front door. Pick a plane, hit play, and you’re in the war.

The Warbirds join screen — the aircraft picker with the Sparrowhawk selected, the Starfang unlock bar, and the Brick Sea behind it — running inside an itch.io game page with a red Running in browser bar above the frame
The full game — join screen, spawn picker, the Brick Sea rolling out behind it — running right inside an itch.io page.

The same war, a new front door

itch.io is where a lot of people go looking for something to play, so that’s where Warbirds now lives too. Everything you get at warbirds.io is there: the aircraft picker, the unlock bar, the daily challenge, and every theater the game runs. Your progress, your leaderboard standing, your medal case — all the same account, all the same servers. It’s the game, just wearing an itch frame.

Nothing to install

Load the page and you’re on the tarmac. There’s no launcher, no client to download, no setup — the tower comes online, reports ready for takeoff, and drops you into a live match against real pilots. Close the tab when you’re done. If you’d rather have the full experience, the site nav points home to warbirds.io in a click.

Come find us there

If you found Warbirds on itch, welcome — you’re playing the real thing, the same one everyone else is. Same skies, same seas, same Brick Steppe. Roll out.
